The Carter County Commissioners met on Monday, December 14, 2020 in the Carter County Courthouse Boardroom. Present were Steve Rosencranz Chairman, Rod Tauck Vice Chair, and Mike Watkins, member. Commissioner Rosencranz called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM
The commissioners discussed 911 signage, has well as the auto gate resolution.
Georgia Bruski DES coordinator, joined the meeting in regards to updates from the Health Department on Current COVID-19 updates. Attorney Harrington suggested that Georgia email Dale Diede Pac, Carter County Public Health Office requesting information.
The commissioners discussed state regulations on Predator Board donations.
Mike Madler joined the meeting to present the commissioners with an updated framed map of Carter County. He has also printed smaller copies of the map for the County to hand out as needed.
Mike has also completed the survey on the Medicine Rocks Cemetery last year. He may look into surveying the Ridgeway cemetery.
The commission called Jade Boggs requesting a review of the policies that cover the lease agreement between Carter County and Dahl Memorial Hospital.
The meeting broke for lunch and convened at 1:00.
Airport Master Plan Advisory Committee Meeting - The meeting was called to order by Rod Tauck.
Roll call/ introductions: Rod Tauck, Mike Watkins, Troy Fruit, Corbit Harrington, Bill Kalstrom, Ryan Tooke, Pam Castleberry, Kent Penney, and from KU Engineering. Zoom call in: Andrew Zielike, Mark Mckee, Dane Castleberry, Darin Pluhar, Mary Lynch and Jessie Scott. See the minutes from the MPAC. The next meeting will be spring 2021.
Troy Fruit stayed to discuss meter at the airport. He will talk to Darin Pluhar about it. Addendum to Pluhar lease will describe the arrangement for paying electrical meter of use at his hangar.
There being no further business the commission meeting adjourned at 4:05 pm.
