Minutes: February 01, 2021
The Carter County Commissioners met on Monday February 1, in the Carter County Courthouse Boardroom. Present were Steve Rosencranz Chairman, Rod Tauck Vice Chair, Mike Watkins member, and Attorney Corbit Harrington. Commissioner Rosencranz called the meeting to order at 9:00 pm.
The commission reviewed the Hospital Key log.
Commissioner Tauck made the motion to a have Cecile Kuehn, Deputy Treasurer/ Payroll Clerk, print 50 copies of the Personnel Policy. Commissioner Watkins seconded the motion. There was no public comment and the motion carried.
Commissioner Tauck made the motion to approve the January 14, 2021 meeting minutes with corrections.

OAC Meeting
Present: John Neisner, Cody Taggart, Casey Cuny, Robert Johnson, Scott Cromwell, Ryan Tooke, Pam Castleberry. Phone in: Kelly Axeman, and Greg Benjamin.
Cody Taggart presented a quote for the Courtyard fence.
Scott Cromwell presented a sketch of the dedication plaque.
Canopy details- Slate Architect will have this ready for review at the next meeting.
Keying Schedule — Ryan Scott and Casey went over the keying schedule after the last OAC meeting. Scott will contact the door company.
Greg Benjamin, Stahly will look into the drainage on the East side of the building. Robert, Scull Construction suggested a French drain system for the area.
Flag pole location- Scott recommended the area between parking area and driveway by the West entry area. The commissioners agreed.
Ryan has started to schedule deliveries of the equipment and supplies that will be needed when the facility opens.
Submittals include Courtyard drawing.
Owner Items- Commissioner Tauck questioned the Handicapped parking and access to the front door. Greg Benjamin will look at the specs to see if there are other options, keeping in mind that the walkway would need to be ADA compliant.
The drawer slides for the serving table- there are 4 slides totaling $2,800.00 that are recommended in the specs. There is an option for less expensive slides. Cody will research the warranty of each option and chose the least expensive option as per the commissioners wishes.
CAR #5 — Cody will update and email a copy for review so that the commissioners can sign it at the next OAC meeting.
The granite counter for the pass through was not ordered. This maybe replaced with stainless steel or solid surface counter top. The commissioners chose to go with solid surface.
Changer order #7 was signed by the commissioners. The next OAC meeting will be February 16, 2021. The OAC meeting adjourned at 11:25 am.
Ryan Tooke, Dahl Memorial Pay for installing the wiring for the contrast injector, with C.T. Scanner grant funds. Reimbursement to Dahl will be made with the CBDG grant monies in the amount of $57,074.00.
Pam Castleberry let the commissioners know that she has spoken to Mid Rivers Communication. They will set the Public Health Office phone line in the new facility and bill it to Carter County.
The meeting broke for lunch at 12:00 and reconvened at 1:00
