The Carter County Commissioners met on Monday, June 13, 2020 in the Carter County Courthouse Boardroom, present were Steve Rosencranz, Chairman and Rod Tauck, Vice Chair and Mike Watkins member. Commissioner Rosencranz called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM.
Commissioner Tauck made a motion to sign the predator contract in the amount of $91,800.00 for Mark Huesby. Commissioner Watkins seconded it. There was no public comment and the motion carried.
Commissioner Watkins made a motion to approve the encroachment permit for the Arbuckle Ranch to bore under the Little Missouri River Road. Commissioner Tauck seconded the motion. There was no public comment and the motion carried.
Pam Castleberry has received a quote from Acu-Search to digitally store the meeting minutes for the county. She requested permission to use the service to store the minutes including the first 9 volumes. Commissioner Watkins made a motion to approve digital storage of the minutes. Commissioner Tauck seconded, there was no public comment and the motion carried.
Curt Hansen, USFS joined the meeting to review Sioux Ranger District Forest Plan. Chalk Buttes would have a back-county designation. There may be federal land access grant funds available to repair the Box Elder crossing.
Commission recessed for lunch at 12:00 and reconvinced at 1:00

Old business
Raquel Williams R.N. read the minutes from the June 1, 2020 meeting. Approved as read.
MOU with Fallon County sanitarian: Renee contacted DPHHS, when there is an emergency and there is no sanitarian available the Public Health officer is the back up.
Annex's Raquel did not receive notification from Darcy Wassmann before July 1, 2020 and will forward them to the new County Attorney Corbit Harrington.
New business
Public Health nurse report: Raquel as submitted her resignation effective July 24, 2020. Montana tobacco use prevention 20-21 the county will receive $ 12,960.00 in grant funds.
CARES grant act, the County received $32,165.00 June 8, 2020.
Public Health Emergency Preparedness program 20-21 County will receive $27,381.00 in grant funds.
Immunization Action Plan program 20-21 Carter County will receive $3443.00 grand funds
Mother, Child Health Block grant and Fetal Infant Child Maternal Mortality rate programs run on Federal fiscal year, September 30, 2020.
