Weed Department - Seasonal Full time operator and Seasonal Full time Limited operator application packet

Road, Bridge Mechanic/Truck Driver/Equipment Operator:  The Carter County Road and Bridge Department will be accepting applications for a fulltime Road and Bridge Mechanic/Truck Driver/Equipment Operator.  Responsibilities will include but not limited to, maintenance and repair on trucks and all types of heavy equipment including welding and fabrication, as well as driving tractor-trailer type trucks and operating large equipment.  Applicants must hold a valid CDL Class A driver’s license and current medical card and meet certain physical requirements.

Custodian: The Board of Carter County Commissioners is accepting applications for a permanent part-time custodial position for the Carter County Courthouse and the Carter County Event Center. The board has designated the position to be up to 30 hours per week. Duties would include general cleaning of the courthouse and Event Center as listed in the custodial job description. Some hours worked may be filled prior to 8:00 am and after 5:00 pm in the evening to accommodate the public’s use during business hours. Carter County offers a competitive wage and benefits on a pro-rated basis based on the hours worked.
